Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

This simple, non-surgical treatment temporarily smooths frown lines, forehead creases, crow’s feet and thick bands in the neck.

It is the only treatment of its type approved by the FDA and has also been proven to be effective in reducing excessive sweating (hyperhydrosis).

What happens during Anti-Wrinkle Treatment?

A full consultation with the surgeon is the first step in your journey. After this the procedure itself is simple, taking only about about 15 minutes. The treatment works by relaxing the underlying muscle groups in the area of the unwanted lines.

The product (Botulinum Toxin) is injected, using a very fine needle containing the muscle relaxant, into the wrinkles selected for treatment. Within 4-10 days there is a noticeable improvement which can last up to 6 months.

What to do after you have undergone Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

A common misconception with this treatment is that it produces a “frozen” appearance. This is not the case and our highly experienced surgeon will adjust the dose in order to achieve a natural and refreshed appearance.

What you do after the treatment and how you take care of your skin is very important. Don’t touch your skin where the injections were performed and avoid rubbing the treated area for 24 hours because there is a risk of the product spreading to other, unintended areas of

your face and neck.
Try to exercise the muscles for 5 hours after the treatment, this helps the product attach to the muscles, but avoid lying down or leaning forward for a few hours after the treatment. Avoid strenuous physical activity and other facial treatments for 24 hours, and try to avoid consuming large amounts of alcohol.

If you find reactions occurring, please contact your plastic surgeon.
